Seat runner bolt question

I took out the seats from my 86 Grad a month ago to put in new carpeting and didn't pay much attention to the fact that there are two long bolts and two short bolts that secure the seat runners to the car. Now I can't remember if the two short bolts go on the same side of the seat or the same end of the seat...I have successfully put them in both ways but one way must be correct. I don't see any mention of this on the CarDisc. Any help?
