Ashtray compatibility

Hi all, just bought an 82 Spider (very pretty and my 6th Alfa. God have mercy on my soul).

I need to replace the ashtray, and I don't know if one from a 91 would fit. Anyone know offhand?

I'm gonna guess and say 'no' because of the console changes from point A to point B.

Thanks Brownie

The photo helps a lot. Nope, won't fit my 82. Ashtrays are getting tough to find.

Like the wood grained inserts on your consol. Were these faactory or did you add these yourself? If so, where are they available from? Look like they would fit my S3.

These are stock on my 94 Ce. I think they could be made and added though.

i have looked into this for my car.

i have seen nothing yet that resembles anything that looks as nice as the CE wood.

all the stuff i have seen look like cheap stick ons.

There's an ashtray in there, might be a bit worn though.
I frequently see ashtrays on the German Ebay, look for "aschenbecher" :-)
(Just found another rarity, at least in Europe: sidemarkers.)
