What is this part called?

I pulled some parts this weekend as I part my '81 Alfa, and hit the interior pretty hard. I pulled this piece which I know what its function is, but what is it called? Can someone help me out?

It serves as the base metal piece for the stick shift.

Intermediate or middle shifter boot.

yeah, it's a cover that goes over the tranny tunnel
