Regular South Bay Alfa meet, In & Out Burger?
I know the Miata guys do it weekly, and last Sunday there was a whole BMWs/ Porsches/Mercedes, contingent outside the Jamba Juice/Boston Market (El Monte & El Camino) parking lot. Their "European Meet", said they gather monthly.
You guys do that, you up for a regular gathering either in the Blockbuster/Jamba Juice parking lot (El Monte & El Camino) or the In and Out Burger opposite Costcos'?
Maybe starting next Wed 4/30 or Thur 5/1?
(Randy can bring a different Alfa a week for the next 10 weeks )

Realistically, it makes more sense to join forces with the lesser marques. I am ensconed in the East Bay for now and won't be there, but if an Alfa contingent makes at least occasional appearances at the "Euro Meet" that is a good thing. Who knows, some of those guys might "wake up and smell the coffee."
Keith, did you sell the MG yet? I was dead serious about my advice to you. You are looking for something: you didn't find it in the series 4. It ain't there in the MG. I believe that only a real series one Spider, a really cherry one, will be "it" for you. Why fight it?

I would be interested in meeting at or near this location every few months, and could make the first one be pretty soon if that works for the group. Let me know if anything gets pulled together.

Lordy, between you and Tom, y'all will drive me to buy a Mustang!
Randy, you didn't list the Ferrari ????? What gives?
BTW-The other 'European' (German) car owners may not want us around, all their machines were all over 300HP and $50k, they may want us go fetch their lattes.
Any others?

Is that white beauty yours? I hope so, because I have been beating my head against the wall trying to convince needforspeed and some others who shall remain nameless that a sweet Series One Spider is the thing they have been looking for and not finding in their tail-chasing adventures with British Agricultural Equipment and/or Late Model Italian Luxo Barges, (power steering on an Alfa?!).
When NFS sees your car in person, that ought to do 'er.
Me? My Italian luxo-barge with flat-plane crank V8 suits me to a T.

Ya know, I was born and raised in Calie, some 45 years. Even procurred my Alfa there. Probably one of the few Native Sons left. That gives me bagging rights. The logic is very cogent and quite "Left Coast". This is why I left. 'Nuff said. You said it all!

I think the issue, Randy, is that your bizarre obsession with Sport Sedans doesn't exactly give you a credibility boost when you're arguing a point
