I have been in touch wit a few of the BB'ers on sourcing underhood decals for the 1969 Spider Veloce.

I have a few tips that I have combined from several of the list members.

The lubricants sticker is available from Mt Carmel Spares, and is said to be high quality vinyl, not paper backed and is a near perfect replicate.

Alfa Ricambi does still carry the red spark plug sticker as well as the timing sticker. Again I have been told that these are high quality materials and near perfect artwork.

The radiator cap sticker and data plates are available still from Centerline.

A few different calls to make but should be a good start to the under hood stickers for a 1969SV.

I think I'll assign this project to my G-kids for my birthday; might also end up with some Little Kitty stickers also! Thanks for the research here. There is a thread on the air cleaner "stickers" and the oil filter housing also. Bruce

PS: How did your floorpan insulation project go? I used 3/8" closed cell neoprene rubber with nylon backing on both sides for durability. I took lots of pics and if I get motivated, I may do a post.

I just accidentally found another source of decals of which I at least was unaware. OK Parts has some of them, mostly the lubrication sticker and the genuine parts sticker. If you go to OKP Parts & Engineering GmbH, München, Ihr zuverlässiger Händler für Alfa Romeo und Ferrari Ersatzteile, most of us will click to view the site in English, then click "Shop" on the left. The next window will have a list of cars down the left side. Click on your car, then choose 90 Badges & Scripts from the subcategories.

They have a yellow lube sticker like is under my hood, but strangely enough it's listed under Montreal. I'll have to check the part number and see if it matches.

I have seen the Car classics decal site. I do not know much about their decals, but have had a bear of a time communicating with them via email. I had ordered a set of decals from them, but have never received them, which got me started on a parallel path, that may turn out to yeild superior quality decals.

As far as my floor restoration goes...it is complete, and came out very nice. There is now not a speck of rust anywhere on the car. I repainted the entire cabin and then I did use a Dynamat like product called RAAMmat V60 in the entire cockpit area. One of the non-stock items on my car is wool carpeting rather than the factory rubber mats. I did continue to use the carpet for the time being. I restored the heater (which is what started the project) and ended up using the corrugated metal heater ducting rather than the paper. It came out great.

I have pictures of the work up until I started putting the carpets back in. I will take a few finished shots and include them with the work in progress pictures soon.
