New spider owner

Good evening, I picked up my 1993 spider veloce on New Years eve of 2003. I had "only" driven early Porsche 911's previously. What a joy the Alfa is. The driving dynamics are superior to the 911 in almost every aspect except 0 to 60 times. Otherwise the way the twin cam winds up to a 100 mph is equal to the early Porsches and additionally the steering and overall feel of the car is so much more enjoyable. Being of Italian ancestry I am glad I switched.

to the Alfa BB! It's nice to read your brief comparison of a Spider to a P car.
Acceleration is but a brief part of any driving experience. There is so much more to be enjoyed in owning an Alfa...la dolche vita!
