Water Pump Stud Questions

Do the studs ever break off when double nutting?

Is it possible to apply heat to them to help with removal?

Is it just easier to remove the crank pulley?

Can use the breaker bar on the crankbolt and set breaker bar on the ground and hit the key? It always worked on my Volvos.

Do Centerline and International sell the same brand of water pumps?

theory sounds good, if you have enough clearance it should work, but maybe you will consider some power tools?

IF you remove crank pulley, put in a new crank seal, if it has any leak of oil around it. LUBE it well before putting it on, or you can damage the lip.
