If you go the 'Anything About Alfa Romeos' section you'll find a thread titled 'Suppliers'. It has an extensive list of A-R parts suppliers.

The "horseshoe" retainer clips are readily available at almost any auto parts store. They are the same as the ones used by domestic cars in the past. They'll come in a little blister pack that probably has a dozen in it, but their very inexpensive.
