Duetto 67 & 69 body differences ?

I have been away for a while but I am now back into full form and ready to dive deep into my 69 Spider veloce repair / restoration... I have gone nowhere beyond the total dismantling of the car and now at my first big step: the repair of the damaged body (hit front in accident and right frame is bent).
I have found (thanks Osso) a 1967 Duetto body in Belgium and was wondering: Are there any significant differences with the 69 US body I have that would make my life difficult restoring it with my 1969 parts ?
Wasn't the body strengthened in 1969 (I thought I heard that once) ?
I have most of the 1967 car parts that go with the body. Are they worth something (resell to help pay for the cost of the full body buy) ?

Many thanks

Roland

At least the nose radiator intake section was changed. A box was built in front of the radiator to funnel air. This strengthened the body too.

Roland,

There are considerable differences in the front of the car, but none that should prevent you from using parts from the 69 Spider. The 67 Spider didn't have a rear sway bar. So, you will need to make some mounts for the rear sway bar. All of the other stuff should bolt right up.

The engine compartment will be a little different in that there may not be mounts for a brake booster or clutch fluid reservoir. These things will need to be carefully removed from the 69.

Do not sell anything from either car until you have completed your restoration. If it were me, I would toss or give away the suspension bits from the 67. If you have an engine and transmission from the 67, sell that as well and sell the seats and dash. Keep everything else as spares.

As for the left over body bits from the 69, I'd keep those too.
