Funny turn signal lights

Anyone know why my rear right turn signal lights blind extremely fast (maybe 4 X per second) when my right side blinks normally at about once per second. Checked the bulb and connections to that socket, and no obvious visual signs of problem. Ideas?

I get this often.....

Hmmmmm, after posting, I realize I should check out the front lights too.......maybe there is a connection (pun?)

Usually when the blinkers change their blinking rate it is because the total load has changed. Like when one bulb burns out. So, yeah, check the front turn signal bulb.

Otherwise, if it ain't a burned out bulb, usually 'issues' with turn signals or brake lights are problems with the ground connections. Clean the bulb bases and clean & tighten any ground connections.

While you are checking all the bulbs check watage of each and make sure the watage of all bulbs is matched. Sometimes PO will put anything in there. But failed front on that side is most likely suspect, as previously noted.

Might also want to check the number 3 fuse. I had similar problems and the fuse wasn't seated quite right and had a wee bit of corrosion on it.

Thanks guys. Figured it out....the front pass signal light wire connection, just behind the bumper was apparently loose, just pushed in the connecting clips in tighter.

Thing is, this happened to me before, and I did the SAME thing to fix!! Man, sems like it happens 1-2X a year, but when it comes around again, its like you forget about it all over again....Alzheimers!!
