.. bump steer agian...

i have a case of bump steer on my 84 spider..

. my car is lowered, and i run 205/50/16 wheels and tires..

.. but the ugly head of the dreaded ' bump steer' is following me.

...the car will dart in the direction of the dip... mostly on broken pavement( yes i am in california, but our roads are from the 60's, in some places like near vacaville and fairfeild on hy 80.. it's a mine feild.

.)i looked at the alfaholices site, and saw there kit..even posted a question on the brakes, suspension page, but as of now ...no answer..

. as for there offering.. they use rod ends on both ends of the 2 outer links,, but with there system it looks like it would fowl the lower a-arm( at the inner bearing mount)have any of you more experanced alfa guys, out there have this problem

??? and how did you solve it...

also with the mighty american $ sucking dirt.. the alfaholics system is way to pricey for me..

The price of a lowered suspension, bump steer.
Do you have up rated shocks and springs ?
You might try shimming the spring buckets a bit if you dont have the plastic rings in there already.

If you use a drop spindle to lower the front end, bump steer is not as bad.
