84 Spider Hose Sizes

I would love to purchase the silicone kit from hiperformancestore.com, however my wife has me on a restricted budget for my cars. Does anyone know the sizes of the hoses for my car? I think some of them are my running problem and I plan on replacing them this weekend. Thanks in advance!!

If you are going to order the kit "Alfa Romeo Spider Hi Performance Silicone Vacuum Hose Kit 1982-1994", you don't need to measure any sizes. The kit is complete, and everything fits...

I would love to buy the silicone hose kit but the wife says no, therefore, I will be buying hoses as I need them by the foot from the local auto hous.

Well, dmickeyjr, I feel your pain...* I replaced most of the hoses in our '84 with various sizes of auto supply store vacuum & fuel hoses. I don't recall the sizes off hand but it is not too hard to measure the lengths and ID needed.

One hose is a bit odd - a large ID at the oil vapor separator and a smaller ID at the intake duct. I fit a small piece of the smaller ID hose inside the large ID hose and so far it has worked OK.

I don't expect these hoses to last forever, though. The premium you pay for the silicone hoses from HiPerformace Store will likely be a one-time investment. I think it'd be worth maybe buying your wife some jewelry along with the hose kit...?
