Liking what I see here - About to have the body refinished and already thinking of seats. The Quads came standard with the Grey seats and red stiching. Anyone with a Quad swap to Black with red stiching? Love to see a pic or two. I'm leaning towards black instead of the correct Quad color.

I would think twice about Alfaholics. If something is wrong with the merchandise, they will do anything to mingle out. They have this funny attitiude of thinking the customer comes last !!!
I had a very unpleasant experience with them, sent me unacceptable window winders amongst my order. They had deep marks on them and the chrome was all bubbly, and when I complained, I was told I was trying to teach them their job !!
They lost the rest of my $3000 plus order. Classic Alfa have the right attitude and prices on many items are cheaper.
Good luck.

Well I can't speak for the hardcores, but I went with what Alfa calls a triple Black( so I'm told). Black ext., Black dash and Black seats and carpet. I have Red accents on the seats, the carpet, the floor mats are Black with the red emblem, Red double stiching on the shift boot and handbrake and I swapped out all of my Black bezeled instruments(speedo, tach, fuel, water and oil) to Chrome Bezel with the heater plate also in Chrome. oh and the door panels are Black as well. I'm just not a brown kind of guy. When the job is finished I'll try to post a shot. Tell me again, How hard is it to install an after market A/C?

My '87 Veloce is triple-black, except for the red stitching, and I think it's a great color scheme. Probably looks even better on your '82, and the chrome bezels will look great, too. I'm using a chrome ball Momo shift knob on my '87, with an all-black Momo steering wheel. Just a little chrome really goes great with the black.

Bob Sacamano,
I never thought I would ever get to speak with you personally. You are so famous! Cosmo Kramer talks about you all the time. I feel honored.

Thanks I hope so. I really like the idea of the Chrome/Black color scheme, I am sure yours has a great contrast. Because mine is a dual pod I elected to keep the original wood steering wheel and shift knob, which happen to be in pristine condition. It kind of gives it that "this car is old look". As I mentioned above I will try and post a pic of the car once it's completed. Good luck with leatherseats.com

Yes, but fame brings with it a tremendous burden.
