carbs matched pair and jetting

Hello,
I've bought a pair of used DellOrto DHLA40E 36 mm chokes to convert my 2.0 L engine from Spica to carbs. Unfortunately I've discovered that they have different serial numbers. I know that the numbers should be the same or very similar otherwise they may give problems when trying to jet them as the progression drillings could be different.
Question is what it means "very similar"?
The left carb number is 5240 P 05120401106 and the right carb number is 5241 A 05120401006. May I have your opinion that the difference is acceptable or not ?
Another problem is this:
Useing a formulae for 36 mm chokes from a table showing suggested emulsion tube type it is recommended to have:
7772.6 or 7772.5 emulssion tube
145 main jet
190 air corrector,
50/55 7850.2 idle jets size.

But in the same manual is an example jetting from real applications for standard 2000 pinto on 40s:
34 mm Chokes
7772.10 emulsion tubes
140 main jets
180 air corrector
45/7850.1 idle jets size

In my carbs are:
36 mm chokes
7772.7 emulsion tubes
135 main jets
200 air correctors
52/7850.1 idle jets size

I'm going to add to carbs a set of trumpets 45 mm long and change cams to47CB cams. My question is: what would be the best jetting in that case ? Can I modify my emulsion tubes drilling larger air holes ? If it is possible what is a proper dimeter of the holes in recommended emulsion tubes ?
My Alfa is not for racing truck and I'd like to achieve as high mileage as possible.
Janusz

I think it is a matched pair. I have 2 pairs of carbs, and the upper number is one different between both, while the lower number is exactly the same, except for a 0 whch is changed into a 1 for the other carb.
