Wobbly Wing mirror and power window

Hi guy's,

A couple fo questions..
Firstly,
The actual mirror glass of the drivers wing mirror is loose and wobbly.

I can expose all the mounting points and such but can't see which of them is loose.
The actual mounting points for the mirror seem fine and I think that it's the the point where the motor gimbal is attached but again can't see anything in particular.

Has anybody got any experience with this? Any ideas how to fix it?


Secondly,

The motor for the power window on one side has packed up which is a bummer but not the end of the world.
I've got a new one to replace it with but I'm aware that when I remove the regulator the wires will spring off the drum. New regulators are supplied with a clip that holds all the wires in place until you get tension on them. Has anybody got a DIY tip for dealing with existing wires? Where the clip isn't available

Any advice greatly appreciated.
