Congrats on the purchase. I bought my last two Spiders sight unseen... but digital photos helped immensely. I also had local Alfisti check out both cars.
Sounds like a winner - nice color combo, too. Clean car.
Don't forget suntan lotion...
Be careful with big Interstates. While it's nice that there's a lot of traffic out there if you have a problem, it can be daunting if this is your first trip in a small car like an Alfa. They feel tiny out there on the open road.
Motor mounts should be your first replacement when you get home if they're even remotely suspect.

Yea motor and trans mounts will be my first project when I get home!
Im used to driving Alfas - again its what I grew up on - Alfas, Jags, Triumphs.
No one has checked the car out for me, but Im confident in the car because of everything the owner has said to me. I asked him about crunchy second gear and hes like why would it do that? No it doesnt crunch so I was happy about that!!

Unless you plan on spending an extensive time in Los Angeles, not necessary. Besides, you cant carry a gun on your person in California, much less in a car,(an Alfa, even less).

I take back the gun part. You might need to shoot someone/something through Arizona or LA. It's still Illegal to carry a gun on your person in CA. You would have to leave it on the back hat shelf so the CHP could see it, and for gods sake don't get a speeding ticket!

I think the gun is optional...shooting season doesn't start until 3/21 or so in LA. :-)

No a hand gun in California must be in a locked case separate from any ammo and in the trunk if the car has one. If you got pulled over and the gun was loaded in a locked case that could be a felony. Now in AZ a loaded gun needs to be in a holster but can either be under a seat, a seat next to you or where ever. I miss Arizona

I wouldn't know, I don't own any guns.
Any Californian gun owners want to share rules and regs?
But it is kind of white trash to carry a gun in such a nice Spider.
