MOMO Steering Wheel Hub Adapter?

Anyone have any idea what this would fit? It came with a bunch of other parts when I bought my 86 Spider many years ago, just been sitting on the shelf! My Spider has a MOMO steering wheel on it, is this an extra mount or what!?

There is a number stamped on the black cover, #0069, and the box has 12112110069 on it. What is in the picture is what it has in the box, a small flat silver ring with a yellow wire, a baggie with a small allen wrench and I think 6 screws and the paper is a torque guide for various vehicles. Is anything missing?

Anyway, any info would be great!

It fits an Alfetta GT or Spider dork! Have you ever used the internet?
Took me two seconds to do a Google search. Sheeesh! I guess that you have a hub for the Mad Max project

What is it?

Last year I parted out an '87 Quad Spider. It had a light color wood steering wheel made by MOMO and a matching shift knob. I sold it to an Alfisti in Pennsylvania. The part you have there is designed to be placed on the steering column. The MOMO wheel is sort of flat and the standard Alfa wheel is dished so it need that part to make up for the space between the turn signal device and the end of the steering wheel.
The ring is for the horn button. It would be worth a lot to a person needing to replace a cracked tube.

In case anyone is wondering, the steering hub (MOMO #0069) is for the early Alfettas (up to 1981 IIRC), and the series 4 Spider (M.Y. 1991-94). This hub has splined (instead of keyed) shaft hole so it would not work on any other 105/115 cars.

Tiger,

Thanks for that. It's the right one for me then!

Do you know this because you have changed out the steering wheel on your
'91?

I'm thinking of doing the same.

Vin

I have not done this on my '91, but we did use the same hub adapter when we had a wooden rimmed MOMO wheel on my mother's '91.
