I am far from an attention wh0re. I do not post in threads that I do not intend to give my knowledge, or contribute something that is a rational thought. I will get a Alfa, and will be soon. But unlike some younger people, I work for a living.

"Younger" people??? Who are you refering to? Everyone here has worked very hard for their car and you want to tell us, what?!

DD, I know that, and I was not refering to anyone here. What I meant by my post was simple. Many kids 17-18 has the luxury of their parents buying their car for them. I am not one of them. I work for my cars. That is the "reason" I do not have an Alfa. I am working my *** off to get one, while managing to go to school. I know everyone here works for it, I just am not one of those kids with loaded parents, which is why it will be a month or so until I can afford my Alfa.

DD, I typically try not to get involved in off topic flame wars, or calling people names, as I believe it's counter productive. This time I will speak up, sorry oldsschooleuros, this is not helping your thread.

DD, will you please get your a$$ out of here. Why does every thread you touch turn into a flaming war. Don't tell me it's "the others". I have given you the benefit of the doubt for a long time, I am all for free speech, live and let live and all the good stuff, and I know you have not always been treated fairly either, but if you do not have anything to contribute, just stay out. You are really asking for trouble, every time. This relatively new, and very friendly member is asking a very valid question, and look what you turned this thread into. I feel bad ruining his thread, but this really has to stop

My advice, start your own bulletin board, and flame away....just stop bothering us

I was flamed for the first 3 threads I wrote, then now and when that I had Jim Steck help me with dimensions and CAD drawings of a crank, I was told not to mention his name, hence the engine builder in farmland ohio. Don't tell me what I should write, who I should write about or what I know. You don't make the rules here and until you do, stay out of it. You, Joe Cab and others tormented me over 20" rims and everything else, I came here to help others that might want what I did you guys flamed me needlessly. You have NO ROOM to talk.

whatever dude....I sure don't make the rules....and I told you I KNOW you have not always been treated fairly. Learn to read, and don't always jump in just for the sake of it.

I clearly read what you wrote, start my own site and leave the rest of you alone...learn to type what you are actually trying to say, because you are seeming very biased.

LOL, I guess this will be the first forum I ever may have to use the ignore feature.
Anyhow, I see I am just causing trouble with my topic. Many thanks to those that explained it, and I should be able to adapt those covers with a little fabbing.
I guess now we get our popcorn and watch the comedy movie that seemed to have broke out quite fast.

It's time again

That hard-headed stranger from western Ohio,
Returned to the board again.
But in his garage remained the black Spider,
Its bearings like yarns he did spin.
The hard-headed stranger, had “proof” of a Spider,
Its horsepower only one-ten.
He said it could go one hundred and forty
Before it reached its top end.

Don't answer, don't question.
He's wild and he’s pointless:
He's deridin' an' hidin’ his brain.
Don't fight him, don't spite him;
Just wait till tomorrow,
Maybe he'll not post again.

Many Alfisti questioned so quickly,
“Stock Spiders can make this claim?”
Responses flew from Peter and Aldo,
WopJob and Geeze asked the same.
But how could they know that this simple Dave Douglas,
Really had nothing to fear.
For this was the guy from Sharonville Ohio,
Mouth engaged - brain not in gear.

Don't answer, don't question.
He's wild and he’s pointless:
He's deridin' an' hidin’ his brain.
Don't fight him, don't spite him;
Just wait till tomorrow,
Maybe he'll not post again.

The hard-headed stranger, exhausted his options,
Then alluded to esteemed Jim Steck.
Aldo’d suggested, the answer was Bonnie.
After three times said, “Oh what the heck.”
Feelings that get hurt don’t matter to David,
He laughs as he prattles along.
Picks fights (like his nose) without even thinking,
And faster than rewriting this song.

Don't answer, don't question.
He's wild and he’s pointless;
He's deridin' an' hidin’ his brain.
Don't fight him, don't spite him;
Just wait till tomorrow,
Maybe he'll not post again.

The smartest of posters abandoned the threads
Even ones that he hijacks, of course.
He brags of his knowledge of Chevys and Fords
Though they’re no concern to this board.
This was the tale of the hard-headed stranger,
And if he should pass your way,
Stay out of the path of the broken black Spider,
And maybe he’ll soon go away.

Don't answer, don't question.
He's wild and he’s pointless:
He's deridin' an' hidin’ his brain.
Don't fight him, don't spite him;
Just wait till tomorrow,
Maybe he'll not post again.
