LOL, I had to use it! No, my step brother dropped off his Taurus and told me it needed brakes. It sat in my bottom driveway for 3 days when I finally had time to put new rotors and pads on. Lo and behold, he did not tell me it was leaking brake fluid! So, when I went to pull it up, no brakes, whatsoever. Then that made my pet bear cry...As he was only trained on disc brakes, but had to install a wheel cylinder, poor black bear

When I was in my 30s these were new cars. Now that they are called classics, I guess that makes me an old fart.

The spider was on the other side of the driveway on jackstands (even tapping it in a run-away taurus would've been very tragic!!!!). I tried to slow the car down as quickly as possible, but I only had 2 seconds before impact to decide, I pulled far left and tried to scrub the front tire on the curb/drop off, e brake on, ignition now off, but still too fast to slow down fast enough.
I must say, I now admire cars that make you press down on the brake pedal before allowing you to shift into gear, had this car had that feature, I'd have realized it didn't have any pressure in the lines.
