molded fuel line hose

On the S4 Spiders, and maybe on the 3rd series as well, the fuel line exits the trunk area from the submerged (in-tank) fuel pump, through a rubber grommet visible under the car. The line turns toward the secondary (in-line) pump, and connects to the inlet of that pump via a molded L-shaped hose. Because the fuel line is a smaller diameter than the fuel pump inlet port, that hose has two different size ends. Has anyone recently had to replace this hose, and if so, where did you buy it?

Thanks muchissimo for any input. I'm buying two of them when and if I find them.

Nobody seems to know about this little gem?? I e-mailed IAP and I've looked over all the websites even in the UK, and I don't see this hose listed. I e-mailed Ruth Ann at AlfaParts this afternoon. I KNOW she'll respond, even if they don't have it.

Nobody's run into this before? The over-the-counter fuel line hose I have fits either one end or the other, but not both! I've split the internal reinforcement braid on hose like this before by lubing up the tight end and forcing it onto the fitting, so please don't tell me to try that. It's going to get fixed right, even if I have to dig it up myself. Or maybe fashion a close coupled reducer nipple.

And then I'll post the results on the BB.

Thanks Rusty- I appreciate the offer. If the used hose is ok with no splits, I'll sure take it for now. Just message me and I'll get you my address.

Per IAP and Jon Norman of AlfaParts, this hose is no longer supplied. So, I'm coming up with an assembly that should fit into the space and I'll post the info and a photo when I get it put together.
