Depending on your age parameters for "whippersnappers," I'd say the 40 and above crowd is still in the lead of those who have entered data in the poll, who knows about those who have not.

Well, then by example, you'll be at the Chicago convention thanks to your Alfa.

Alas, as close as I live and my client load won't allow it. I would dearly love to meet the people (and their cars) behind these keyboards.

I have my Own Buiness
and have a lot of demands on my time, but I realized that it may be many years before a national convention comes this close again. Therefore, I have decided to attend the convention as much as possible. Hope you decide to do the same!

Ok , I'll fess-up. I have a black Spider and I would hate the continual chore of proving that black is faster.

It should be right up your alley, anyone that owns a "black" spider knows they're high maintenance just too keep clean and presentable, so proving that it is faster, shouldn't be a problem; it will keep it clean and save you some washing, waxing, and drying, you'll get that for free as you drive.
And yes, I've seen cars after they've come off the track. I was thinking of something a little more subtle.

And this is the man who's beloved Alfa sleeps in the same garage that doubles as his wood shop..yes. we know California duster. Have no fear, when in others' presence, I enjoy a subtle drive as it gives them more time to gaw---uh--admire the Italian beauty.

That's a myth -- California dusters are of no use unless you wash and wax weekly and don't drive the cars....they pick up too much road grime as every day drivers to rely on a duster.

I believe the mid-life crisis thing is a good deal of the 40 to 50 folks, but this is the first time in my life my car insurance is so low I could afford to insure multiple cars, one of them being a roadster. Yeah! Thank you AARP!

Just turned 50 a couple weeks ago, the Alfa is the car I wanted when I was 20, in the military and couldn't afford. I'm living the American Dream- a real wife, kid, two cars (paid for), a mortgage and a good job. I drive the car to the job almost everyday, get the thumbs-up from adults and kids. Fifty is the new forty, except my knee aches a lot...
