Not necessarily: I bought my first Graduade in '86 and was 26. I was alfaless between 93 and '01 when I bough a used '87 that I have now (I'm 47).
Maybe that the Alfa bug is an ageless midlife crisis?

I'm 57. Is that older than dirt? I agree with the wealth of experience but some how, for some, the wealth of wisdom & knowledge fades with age. Your's truly is excepted of course.

How true....
For some it's a gift that is never taken away by physical limitations or infirmities as we age until the very end. Pat always worried about having everything locked away within him if a stroke or other malady would take his voice or physical abilities to do the things that he loved. He was blessed, that it was sudden, devastating, and irreversible. We should all be so lucky.
The above in no way takes away from that he is missed and it was devastating to me, his children, and all those that knew him and loved him.

Are we talking chronological or emotional? Put me down for 63. I earned that photo of the F-4J the hard way.

Yes, I'm in the 50+ group, and to the outside world my little red Alfa may look like a mid-life crisis, but it's just the latest manifestation of a life-long affliction. I bought my first European 2-seat convertible at 15, and although this is my first Alfa, it's the sixth in the line of European 2-seat convertibles (can't in good faith call them all sports cars).
