No placebo effect with the Jacobs... It's so easy to go back to stock when you use the Lodge plugs (since there is no gap to set) that I ran several comparison drives, and the mpg increase spoke volumes... Also did a "throttle response" comparison, since one of my peeves with the stock s3 Spiders is that they are slow off the line, and there is a definite improvement in this area. I think that the Jacobs truly improves the way in which the mixture ignites and how the engine burns gasoline... (BTW, my wife's '86 XJ6 Jag, a gas guzzler in stock form for sure, has had a Jacobs for 10 years... We haven't driven it in a while as it is at a very busy shop awaiting some paint work, but the shop has started it though, and it's fine...)
Best regards,

Yes, but in most cases with ignitions or air/fuel delivery there is that there is a "placebo" effect, meaning some will notice a difference, even though there is no difference to be had-I was building up to a video to prove a difference-me in 4th gear going up that road you liked so much-"Creek Rd." Up hill, big grade, etc...Also shifting from 1rst to 4th with almost no lag or 3rd to 5th with no lag whatsoever-you ruined me surprise Enrique!!!

Well, the way I see it, there are three choices: 1. I can delete my post, but I'm not so sure I see the benefit in this ... 2. I could be bribed to delete my post, but of course I would have to see benefit in this , or 3. I could just act surprised when you post the film.
Best regards,

In these pics you can see the Pro Street Computer, secondary trigger, coil and general lay out... The computer is safe as it was advertised at that time as being submersible as the entire components are epoxy sealed, sitting next to the tire, it won't be as affected by flying rocks from the tire.

Now the interior items: Full throttle switch, mounted under the gas pedal, the LED Diagnostic panel below the digital clock (annunciator) and right below that you'll see the two microswitches for the anti-theft and rev limiter. Yes, the anti theft switch in plain sight, best place maybe-They are not very noticeable at all, but being the rev limiter is also there the crook could end up not turning the feature off and setting the rev limit to just 1800rpms or vice versa, either way, he won't get far or he won't get far fast enough...

Before I forget, the last 3 fill ups I did were 23.0mpg, 22.9mpg and today 23.0mpg (Pro Street has only been on for the last miles of that fill up). I usually drive the same way everyday (as fast as possible), so I'll do testing of the next 3 to see if there is any improvement whatsoever.

I just got done testing the anti theft system, it is really nice. If they drive towards creek as fast as possible, it dies while turning in the intersection of Sharondale Rd and Creek Rd. Not even half way to the stop sign it is already running at 50% power like it is running out of gas and progressively gets worse. Also, I did put in a blue LED light strip where the factory liscense plate lights were. I removed everything from that area, wired it in and mounted it (No more non-working liscense plate light tickets for me!), I'll take pics tonight when I come home (at dark), looked really nice last night!

Get yourself a coffee-can muffler and you'll have the full ricer-boy package. Very slick install of the new ignition, BTW. Murray should be embarrassed by his sloppy work compared to yours. Always remember, the devil's in the details.

Coffee can muffler, you mean this (pic below)? Ricer-boy package indicates Japanese made, I thought Alfa's were Italian, did they move the plant to Japan? Murray did not do sloppy work, he doesn't have motronic anymore which opened up lots of room where his factory airbox used to be. I believe he did an awesome job, maybe too awesome, I guess you're saying he's the devil, because of the amount of details he took into consideration. Though, I think someone refered to him as Luke, Enrique is Darth and John M has a hankering for baby seal meat.
Idle hands are the devil's tools.
