Interestingly enough, going over the instructions on the install, I see that the annunciator will warn me if the ignition is getting too hot No fried ignitions for me!

After 2 and a half hours of searching, I finally found a suitable place for the computer control. The engine bay is extremely cramped with the motronic set up, but I finally found and installed the ignition computer-physically, not yet wired in, coil and secondary trigger is not hooked in as of yet, maybe tomorrow. I was getting tired of waiting for my days off, so I began the procedure, but won't be finished with it all till my first day off (Wednesday). 10 points to the first person who can guess where I mounted the computer.

I would also say passenger side, but specifically against the fender wall and very close to the firewall, so as not to interfere with the windshield water reservoir... If you went for the area around the headlight, so as to hide the unit, that would have been (or was when I did it) my choice for the (smaller) coil unit...
Best regards,

That was my top choice at first, but there was no room there, it fit, but the intake hit up against, so I figured, if the engine were running the torque would be rocking it right into it occasionally. It is on the passenger side though.

My winshield washer jar is tucked into the driver's side fender, my radiator overflow is on the firewall passenger side. It is on passenger side in a very cool (air flow) type of place....

It works !!!!! Just got to install the interior items, go to the hardware store, pick up a grommet and regap the plugs-I'll do the plugs first, yes, regapping iridium plugs Not supposed to, but is possible if you're careful.

Ok, now I'm ready to see pics - so you gotta finish today!
I'm also curious to see the results with the iridiums, since I'm a firm believer that the Jacobs can handle just about anything from mild to radical...
Best regards,

2 seasons in Cincinnati-Winter and summer. I sweated my butt off yesterday, but today, I'm wearing a jacket and am freezing. I had to pick up a gapping tool, seemed to have lost my last wire gauge feeler set. The drive to Autozone was, well, AWESOME!!!!! Even at factory gap, I just got done regapping the plugs, started her up (which she now starts 3 times faster-Almost instaneously), now for the full throttle switch, anti-theft switch and rev limiting switch. OMG, she runs so much better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
