Exclamation Loss of power

Last summer I began to have power problems with my 74 spider.
While driving, the engine would loose power, and then stall out if I didn't keep the RMP's high enough.
At first I thought one of my cylinders was misfiring, but after changing all the plugs and wires, the problem continues to come and go.

Anyone have any ideals?

What did the plugs look like when you pulled them? Was there any sign of problems demonstrated on the plug tips? Here is a great tool to use to get started:

A few things to think about. Do you have your timing setup right? Is your coil working? What is your fuel pressure and is your pump and spica delivering fuel? Are you oil or carbon fouling plugs? Are you detonating?

Talk to Roadtrip. He has a 74.

Best of Luck,
John M
