Simon,

Thanks for that image. It looks like you had to slot the holes all the way through to the edge of the part. Was the misalignment that severe?

I am interested in purchasing performance headers/pipes for my S3 spider, but I may want to wait until the next rev of your product has been spun.

Tolerances between the different pieces of the exhaust can ruin the alignment of the pieces to the manifold/rear section. Can I suggest adding slots into the design of the coupling to the manifold?

Why does this system not fit 90-94? I've heard it's because of the power steering - but I have the Graduate w/out power steering. Would it work.

what I really want

is a stainless header/freeflow cat combination... the centerline stuff is chrome plated steel. I'm sure the chrome will discolor from the heat fairly quickly (please correct me if I'm wrong). I'm not sure how much resistance is in the muffler, but that may require replacement as well. Does anyone out there sell S3 stainless headers?

Hi,

I too would be interested in a complete freeflow stainless system for my '89 Spider. Idealy I'd want a complete system, headers to exhaust tip.

Carl

So, is IAP's cat converter stainless where Centerline's is chrome plated? I just received a new one from Centerline; will it be ok or should I return it?
