Series 4 fog lights?

Hi all, after seeing an MGB with cool lights mounted behind the grill (looked kind of nice), I thought to myself "What would that be like?".

Has anyone put round or rectangle foglights tucked away in those oddly shaped holes in the lower part of the bumper on a series four spider?

I've seen several S4s with them. They look fine if you tuck them into the intake under the bumper, though it's more of a style than a functionality thing.

Just don't be one of those fools who drives around with them on all the time. It's dumb on two levels: it's more glare for other drivers, and it actually reduces your ability to see into the distance. Your eyes adapt to the brighter foreground light and things in the distance look darker by comparison. This is not good.

Unless you live in an area that often sees dense, low fog, then fog lights are of limited usefulness.

Driving lights, on the other hand, can really help light up a dark road at night.

What I am planning on my S4 is a conversion to Hella Euro H4 headlights and a set of small Hella auxillary driving lights. With relays, this should really put out a lot of light in a very precise pattern.

Ive always been tempted to remould the lenses in the front indicators / sidelights, install foglights in the sidelight section instead.
