no idle

I just changed the head gasket, new points, cap, con, rotor, set long and short rods to spica. Will start and run ok but will not idle at all. If I take my foot of the gas pedal it will stall. Any ideas? I am lost. Thanks, Michael

What year car, which fuel system are we talking about here???

sorry, that would help, 78 spider with spica. I made all the adjustments to the fuel system per wes ingram's manual. It still won't idle. Help!
