Smile Noise in Front-end

My 1987 Spider Veloce has had a whole new front-end installed. Everything has been replaced (oerdered the whole kit from Centerline Alfa). The shocks are new as well.

Anyway, it was all tight to begin with but the reason I insisted on having it all replaced was that pesky noise coming from the front suspension. Not much, just a little "tap-tap" over very small bumps in the road.
Well... you guessed it. The noise is still there, and I am about to loose it.

Any ideas or suggestions would be much appreciated.

Also, one of the Spider Veloce scripts is missing from the side, and I have been unable to find one.

Thanks

If your motor mounts are original and saging, could be oil pan hitting the oil pan guard or could be heat shield?

Ditto on the motor mounts. I had that sort of sound and finally realized that the oil pan was hitting the frame crossmember.

Thanks for the suggestion, however the motor mounts are new, and there appears to be enough clearance between the oil pan and the pan guard.

look at the bumper covers that wrap around the sides (black and silver cover that covers the 5 mph bumper, makes it look pretty and house the side marker lamps). On ours, the driver's side one is a little loose and it makes a tapping sound sometimes. Also, check the front license plate and it's frame...
