Hi Pat:
I forgot to answer your question about bench bleeding. I've got a set of lines made, but they don't seem to be necessary, at least in my experience. If you're not in a hurry, you can let gravity bleed the hydraulics, and it works as well as anything. The pressure bleeder is just a convenience. Older Alfa's with floor mounted pedals and MC's aren't quite so agreeable.
I did have to bench bleed a clutch MC once, for whatever reason, but maybe because it was an off-brand (Metelli) MC that was of suspicious quality.
I make a habit of wrapping all my bleeder screws with a few turns of Teflon tape. It prevents air and fluid leaks during bleeding, and if you happen not to touch your bleeders again for 10 years, it might keep them from rusting in the calipers.
Regards,
Dean
