Hammer Time!
Bring it on Bill. I'll take care of you and Let George take care of John-Boy. He's been saying "George is Next" and bragging about how he is going to "reach out and touch George". That will be great! George will reach out and "HAMMER" John-Boy.

George,
Thanks for the link! We will definitely be there on the 22nd... It's confirmed! Gary was asking (and I'd be interested as well) if it would be possible to participate?
Best regards,

Hi Enrique,
Yes, you can enter the April 22 event, but you need to hurry. Solo events around here are so popular that we use on-line registration (see the CKRSCCA website for a link to "MyAutoEvents.com"). The site size requires that entrants are limited to 90 cars, and there are already 78 registered. Also, we have loaner helmets.

Hi George,
I'm signed-up! I had to read about the classes, and determined that my '84 Spider is in ES - I hope that's right. At least, I didn't get confused and signed up for ESL. Being a newbie, I didn't get a cool sponsor , so I'll have to work on that, unless "Vendetta Racing" let's me go under their umbrella... (Also called Gary, but he doesn't have the Alfa together yet, so he's not sure he'll be competing. I did tell him that he didn't have much time to make up his mind... He's taking his Porsche 944 to Mid-Ohio this weekend.)
Best regards,

Well, since I can't run in the class that you guys are in, and your division name specifically says "Beat Budsy", I didn't think it would make any sense for me to use it in a class where there is no Budsy... Besides, I did win $10 bucks because of him... Oh, sorry, sorry... ... you were the other half of the $10 bucks... I tell you what, I'll stay neutral, if I win $$$ again... so it's up to you, buddy! Do keep in mind that I plan to have my own division, and this one was just a guest sponsorship for this autocross, but I knew that subtle comment would get you!! I'm really looking forward to this!
Does your wife autocross? I also signed up my wife for the convention autocross...
Best regards,

Hey Zunige,
There you go again waving that $10 bill at me and John!
Maybe in Detroit John and I will make a side bet and put our times against yours and Budsy's? Then of course we will have to team up (Being in the Northern Division) against them (Southern Division) but we need a couple of ringer's to compete against George and his wife? Any ideas who we can get?

Not to worry, Murray - all proceeds are going towards our "Detroit Convention Bar Fund".

I'm smart when it comes to money - Since, I'm driving, I'll convince Budsy to bet on John and you!

The only way we stand a chance is if we get a couple of rule refinements implemented. I never heard back on my proposal to determine the winners by lottery , so now I'm working on an "honor handicap system". I'm trying to keep it simple though; it's too complicated to try and compute seconds and such, so I'm just trying to establish how many extra laps would the more seasoned drivers have to take. The form would read something like this:- How many autocross or TT events have you won at a national convention? (If a bunch, you would be entitled to run additional laps around the course.)
- How many additional laps would you like to run? (Please be advised that 2 or more laps are reserved for extraordinary drivers, and due to the amount of work, we will not be able to check. Hence we are using an "honor system" here.
- Please confirm the number of extra laps that you feel your competition record entitles you to.
What do you think?
Best regards,

Enrique...you and your Budsy and your Toto too are all going down. Can't hardly wait to put a whoop'n on you and Budsy! I must admit this though....Budsy, George, Dave Jarman, John Hicks, Dee, my wife and I are all teaming up to bring ALL the trophies back from Detriot to KY!!!!!! My wife has never autocrossed...but I'll try to get her some experience behind the wheel before we go.
You know.....Budsy is being very quiet lately. He must be over in his garage watching Victory by Design and plotting his next course of action to try to insure his victory!
Best Regards,
John M
