Source for Wiring Harness

I am looking for a reliable source for a 1969 1750 Spider wiring harness for our restoration.

I prefer that the harness be constructed of top quality (possibly better than original) wiring as many of the leads in the original are undersized (especially the fuel pump leads which benefit from larger guage wire).

Any sources for original harnesses or modern aftermarket are appreciated.

I have already looked at Centerline, Linea Rossa, International, A.R., etc.

I obtained a new wiring harness, for my '62 Spider, from Centerline, and the quality was excellent. The harnesses are made, for Centerline, by a gentleman in Detroit who was formerly an Alfa dealer in Germany.

Try these guys, they make a universal harness that you can customize:

What I like is the modern fuse box with relays. I am planning on using them, and adding waterproof connectors from Digi-Key(same ones used on most modern cars).
Also dont crimp any electrical connector on a car, it will eventually corrode or vibrate loose, solder only. I even solder the crimp pins on connectors, cause these also come apart. Relay anything with any significant amount of current that uses a switch to turn on(head lights, fuel pump, ignition switch to starter, etc)

I think Centerline only can get ones for the Giulias and not for your vintage spider. There used to be a guy in Dallas who made them, but I think he's moved. Look in some of the Alfa Owners and see if he runs and add. His stuff is very expensive.

You could make your own. It's not that difficult, as there aren't that many wires. britishwiring.com carries many of the wire connections used by Alfa. They also have a wide variety of wiring, including the striped stuff. They also have the non-sticky tape to wrap the wires.

I looked into it several years ago and I think I figured it would cost a couple of hundred dollars in parts to make a harness.
