Soft Top Recommendations

I need to replace my soft top soon and would like some feedback as to which brand to use. I plan to do it myself using the BB guide and a copy of the original factory guide.
It's going on an 87 Quad.
It will be canvas rather than vinyl.
Should I get the padded sides? It appears that is the preferred choice.
Who is the best manufacturer?
Has anyone had exprience with the top offered by IAP?
How about the Sommerland(sp) I think this is offered by autoberry.com?
I have heard that is the best.
How about some recommendations............

I got one last year made by GAHH, Stayfast Canvas with Plastic Window & Padded Quarters. Expensive, but very good quality. Also I had it put on by somebody that had been doing it for twenty years. I think that makes a big difference. I got black on the outside not to show dirt, but wish I got tan inside to lighten the interior.

I posted my comment in another BB thread yesterday, so pardon me for repeating myself: I don't remember the maker of the top I had installed about 3 years ago, but
I'd suggest getting one w/a 'zip-down' rear window. I helps preserve the window & increases airflow tremendously! I live in So. Florida & having the extra ventilation is a huge advantage. My Spider has A/C, which I've NEVER used---don't need it w/the 'zip-down' window!

I would recomend the Stayfast top made by Robbins. They have been making these a long time and produce a great product !
Have them on my '64 and '67 cars.
