FWIW, Centerline Auto appears to be within 15-20 miles as the crow flies in Lafayette.

I spent 10 years living in the Front Range. The company I work for is based there.

I have lived in Denver( Lakewood) since 1975. Are we supposed to be weather forcasters? Anywhere from 50's to 2 feet of snow. I remember driving my 79 Sprint Veloce in 82( ?) around Christmas from far west side to SE Denver in 2" feet of snow. Not possible to know what the weather will be in Denver. We say wait 24 hrs.

Last week we had 24" of snow on the ground at Centerline (not kidding, only about a foot when photo was taken but it kept snowing all day). Today almost touched 80 degrees/mostly sunny. The snow was a bit earlier than usual but not totally unheard of. This is a typical variable weather pattern for Fall along the front range.

Definitely boots and a long warm coat. Not too tall boots. Good rubber soles in case of snow. I remember walking through snow in down town Denver many times in November and December. Better to be warm than cold.

So, Robert. Are you going on a sabbatical or, maybe to ski? Drivin' the '88?

Rick,
Wife going to Denver for 2 weeks CO training late Nov early Dec. Needed to get info on what best clothing to take if possible. Winters in Memphis usually so mild we do not have much in the way of heavy winter clothing - boots ect. Probably slight misuse of the BB but the members are always so friendly and helpful I felt I could get some useful advice - and I did.

Thanks to all,
Robert

I've lived in Denver for over 30 years and I can't tell you what the weather will be. Bring the heavy coat and gloves and most likely you won't need them. After I'd gone through a couple of wildly different winters I asked my 80 year old neighbor what a typical Colorado winter was like and he said he had no idea, he'd never seen one.
