Kinda do, don't it, given it's got an AAV and idle air bypasss instead of an idle air control motor.

oh that's thanks to the previous owner. he restored the car completely, doing the exterior, the interior, and washing the engine compartment.
my duetto is a 'cloverleaf', injection, catalyzed, it comes from Swiss, so it's very similar to the u.s. models, apart from the cockpit, still in kph not in mph, and the sidemarkers.
thanks for the suggestions guys, I'll try to weld it properly, if it doesn't works (I suppose it will do, anyway) I'll replace the whole body - just found three of them, two from a 75 1.6 ie and one from an s4 spider -, if even the replacement wouldn't work, I'll connect the two hoses and send everything to hell

I 2nd the L-jet. does it freeze there? It does not look like it was drilled to me. it looks like a normal break. kinda like a pit in a windscreen. I could see ice doing that. but the dull crystallized look and the way it is larger on the outer surface then the inner looks normal for a break to me.

I was Avaition Electronics Tech on F-4 B and J A/C during the Vietnam War. The F-4's are now all gone from the US inventory. The Saratoga is now gone from the US inventory. Only I am still associarted with the US military - Search and Rescue Controller for the US Coast Guard. And I will also be gone from the US inventory in a few more years. Then the closure will be complete!
Thanks, I love your car and it's condition. Love to see nice exterior photos.
