Vitaloni mirrors

Anyone know how to tighten the manual mirrors up on the ball? I removed the mirror, but the 2 screws in the base only secure the head to the base. The ball extends into the mirror head, not the base, so it seems inaccessible. The back looks to be 1 piece unlike the power ones. The mirrors fold back over 80 and go out of adjustment when closing the doors.

I am not familiar with the Vitaloni mirrors. But I had the same problem with my mirrors and I found that they had a small screw at the ball that controlled the tension. I just tightened it up a bit and the problem was solved.

I am going to guess that you have already looked around the ball but I thought I would mention it anyway.

Yeah, 1st thing I checked. Unfortunately the ball extends into the mirror housing, not into the base.
