Driveshaft support & bearing replace both?

Is it necessary to replace the entire Driveshaft Center support or can I replace the bearing in my current support? Honestly, the bracket on my '71 looks better than the ones I see in the parts catalogues.

Usually the rubber part breaks before the bearing necessitating the change in the first place. When I did mine on my '87 I changed the support with a new bearing only becaus e the old bearing is a pain to remove from the old support. If you have a press you can attempt to change the bearing otherwise it would be easier to change the support and bearing. just my opinion.
