Floor mats

Anyone know if there are floor mats that you can buy off the shelf that will fit the Spider?

Floor mats

I got mine from IAP, and I am happy with them. My car has a dark red interior, and their red mats are quite bright, but still pleased. heres the link

How do your mats fit? I bought the same ones and they are short and do not fit really well. They look like they were made for a different car. The folks at IAP have been really helpful and are going to compare them to the pattern they have to see if there was a mix-up.

Can you post a picture of yours in your car? I would really like to see how your set fits.

I hope that I am not hijacking this thread.

Mats

Mine fit well in my 1985 Spider Veloce. I do have air conditioning, and believe that there may be a different set for non A/C cars. I will try to get a picture up later today or tommorrow.

since they haven't made spiders in a long time, chances of finding floor mats off the shelf to fit perfectly are extremely unlikely.

purchase custom mats is what i would do.

i have the IAP also and the fit is great.

thanks.

I bought THIN cheap ones from walmart. they hide the lovely orange carpet until it's time for it to go. THIN is the word here. THIN so that you can still press the clutch and brake fully. THIN. CHEAP!!!!

It's been years since I bought mine from IAP, but back then they were cut to a very bad pattern. Have someone show you pics of them in place b4 you buy from them. They were oversized and didn't cover the dead pedal area. I returned them and bought better fitting ones from Vick Autosports - Home Page

I'll second that!! The set I got for my '82 are great AND fit perfectly
They also are of very high quality! Yes, they have an ebay store
"Ricambi-AutoMobilia"....I've purchase a number of other items from them.
The delivery time is good/packaging is fantasic and email response to questions is quick. The ONLY 'caveat' is "shipping costs" The dollar to euro
ratios are NOT what they use to be!! Go for it...Ed K

Here is a pic of the fit on mine. Maybe I am being too critical but they appear to be too short, you can see that my foot hangs off them in the passenger side and they have cutouts for things that are not there. IAP is being very helpful hopefully they will find that I was shipped the wrong ones.

Those of you that have IAP ones is this how they fit?
