So here's how MY day started...

Got rearended. No injuries, but a bollocks-ed up car. It's now at Import Paint & Body getting estimated. I'll report back in a day or two when I know something. Son-of-a-dammit!!!

David

Yeah Sgt, it popped the center cap out and also separated the bezel from the instrument monopod! (See Pic).

Glad no one was hurt...

Judging from the bumper being intact and from what I can see no visible damage I'm thinking SUV going toooooo fast (as they all do) and couldn't stop in time?

So sorry. That's my biggest fear when driving one of my Spiders. Seems like I'm always trying to keep one eye on the rearview mirror and trying not to use the brakes too hard.

Well that blows, but in all fairness I could see how thay'd lose sight of that BRIGHT RED PAINT on a car RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM. (yes, that's sarcasm)

That was MY observation too, Tifosi....how can you NOT see a bright red Italian sportscar? It boggles the mind.

Thanks to all of you for your kind words and condolences! I will report back soon when I know what the extent of the damage is. The shop that has the car is exceedingly capable. They handle all of the Hendrick Porsche / BMW / Lexus dealerships' issues when people ball up their cars on test drives. This body shop is top-notch, so if the car is deemed repairable (which I suspect it will be), I will have no worries about the quality of the work. Thanks again to all of you.

David

Are you alright then David? It's much easier to repair sheet metal than bone.
