Looks good, and you can see differences between pre and post. (The AFM in particular jumps right out, and I bet the timing chest is a lot better looking now too )

Oh, BTW, I want your cam cover nuts.

Send them to me now!! LOL

Query:

What's the 3rd wire on the master cylinder switch for?

And:

Where's your emergency hood release cable? (can't show the nice clean engine if'n you can't open the hood )

No doubt you've shaved 3/10ths in the quarter mile. Keep scrubbing!

If I told my mechanic to clean my engine I think he'd kick me in the nuts.

Yeah, but he's still got that cheesy plastic spark plug wire loom cover...

J/K - it looks great!

Looks great!

Any idea what your mechanic used? I'd like to clean mine, particularly the cam cover. Car only has 29,000 on it, so it looks fairly clean. Could be a bit better, though.

I used Gunk as a first step and then used Mag Cleaner to clean the cam cover. After a hot water rinse and residual cleaning, the cover feels very smooth and looks very clean.

It is at the shop presently getting new engine and transmission mounts and a couple of others things like getting the fuel pump and sender unit wired correctly. I can take a few pictures as soon as I get it back.

In the meanwhile, my before pictures...
