You're on the register, David.

What DO Italians do on New Year's Eve? Watch the apple drop in NYC on TV?

Right On Patrick. Speedo quit working @ 15K+. Haven't had time to work on it yet. 1986 Graduate on target. Registration from GA said Veloce, but got that straightened out in SC as 1986 Alpha Romero Spider.

Patrick, are you interested in including parted-out/disposed-of cars, so there's a record of their fate?

You bet, but if you give me 20 of them it'll take me a while to get them all in.

By the way, I refuse to take on eBay cars as there's no information on them, except a chassis number; this makes them rather useless to anybody.

AR Spider Veloce addition to registry, please?

Patrick,

We met at a 'tech session' at Glenn Oliveria's Shop in Berkley last year. My car was on the hoist and Glenn pointed out the Limited Slip Differential and how to identify one.

At the time the car hadn't been seen in California, and we were returning the car to a California Compliant condition so that I could drive it here! All our efforts turned-out to be very satisfying and the car is a real head turner. With the tan cloth top and the sheepskin seat covers over the tan interior, it looks like a Root Beer Float! A beautiful car!

Would you please add my car to the Spider Registry?

I believe that I have given you all the information that I have with Mr. Fazio's help.

Chassis number: AR 115410007805
Manufacture date: 9/27/1979
Type number:
Factory color: duco Bruno AR 836
Location first sold: USA
Current location: San Francisco, CA. U.S.A.
Current owner: Timothy Przygocki

Special notes:
I am the 3rd owner. The second owner was my father. He bought it in Florida. He outfitted it with two 40 DCOE 18 Webers and headers. It had 41K miles on it when I took possession in 2010. It was registered in Indiana as an ALPHA, and it is registered in California as an ALPHA! Is this an anomaly? Are there others?

Best,
Timothy

Hi Timothy,

It was the only tech session that we had at Glenn's, and I remember your car very well - on the lift towards the back of the shop. In truth, none of us got to see the interior as it was way up high, but we paid close attention to your beautiful "undies". Nice looking car!

I've added your car to the register. Hope to meet you sometime; I'm up at Glenn's a lot lately as we're building a vintage racer out of my '67 GT Jr.

Thank you for registering my AR Spider Veloce

Patrick,

Thank you so very much for the nice compliments on my car. I might get around Glenn's Shop when the weather isn't so unpredictable.

I can drive in the rain, and the top will hold the water out, but I just don't like to put my car in jeopardy by driving with idiots in the rain when it isn't necessary!

Best,
Timothy

Patrick, I just checked out progress in the register including the entry for my spider and discovered the build date listed for mine is incorrect - it is a "73 model year but the build date was '72 not '73.

Just trying to keep the register accurate!
