What is the name of this bushing?

All,

This maybe a dumb question so please bear with me. Just purchased an 85 Spider a couple of weeks ago; starting to poke round to figure out what needs to be fixed. After I got the car up on jack stands, I noticed that the following bushing was basically gone on a bracket that attaches to the transmission.

Can anyone identify the bushing that needs to be replaced?

I referenced the Service manual but the best I can figure is that this is bracket referenced on page 13-8.

Transmission exhaust support bracket bushing.

There's two in the trans mount portion which in turn has another mount affixed to it that ties to the exhaust pipe just in front of the catylitic converter or front muffler.

AKA: Front Bracket Mount Silent Block

Clickme to go directly to Centerlines page for the item.

I'm proiiy much closer to 'idiot savant' than 'genius', but glad the info was of use just the same.

Rich,

Thank you.... I just added them to an order I had for them. Did not realize these were more of an exhaust item and had been searching gearbox sections. Lesson learned.

Thanks again,

Bob

For those of you with carbureted cars, this is the same bushing as in the lower end of the carb support rod.
