How to post videos to YouTube

Go to YouTube - Broadcast Yourself., log in if you already have an account, or sign up. Then click upload, enter a title, description, and any pertinent tags. Select a category, most likely cars&vehicles. Then select you sharing options, if you select private video, then only you and 25 "friends" can see it, public allows everyone to see it. Then date and map options don't need to be bothered with, and choose your comment options. Click, upload a video. Click browse, and go to your movies and choose the movie to upload. Click choose. Click upload, this may take up to an hour.

Steps before you import to Youtube:

1. Finialize you cam corder DVD (last process before removing DVD from cam corder when done taping).

2. Load DVD in computer and use a DVD ripper program (down load one from the net) to get new video in a AVI formate and save to your video folder.

3. Open up your Windows Movie Maker and import your new video from your video folder.

4. Use Widows Movie Maker to edit your video (picking the best parts instead of down loading the entire video to Youtube) if you like, saves a bunch of time in uploading video to Youtube if it is 3 min. long vs 20 min. There are file size limites to uploading to Youtube too.

5. After editing new video, save to your video folder. Use the option for best viewing on your computer when saving video to your video folder.

6. Open up Youtube and import new edited video to Youtube as per Chsmadden instructions.
