The short answer is: By not attaching images but inserting them as links.
Images that are attached through "Go Advanced -> Manage Attachments" appear always at the end of the post.
By contrast, using the "Insert Image" function (by clicking the little postcard icon
above the dialog box) allows you to insert the image via a hyperlink -- which requires that the pictures is already stored on a web server somewhere. This way, image references are inserted in the text between IMG tags.
Note: Click on "Quote" for my message and you'll see the code for inserting the postcard icon in the text. Instead of the icon, I could have used a photo.
