Looks awesome. I think the wheel color matches the car perfectly.

You say its an 87? I thought they were done production in 86..or at least for the US

Well in all honesty it is probably an 86 from the factory. But by the time it made its way out here and was registered it was well into 1987. About 7 months into 87. I'll look up the VIN # and some one may be able to tell us if it was the one of the last of the factories batch of GTVs?

Timbowe,

Sweet GTV-6! I agree with DonBeeson above, the wheels really set it off nice with the Silver/Matte below the belt line. I formerly owned an 64" GTV-6 that was red with the charcoal gray below the belt line, and I really enjoyed that car. It was cool to look at and fun to drive, and I used to get a lot of thumbs up from cognoscenti whereas most people hadn't a clue as to what it was. You going to paint it silver again? Silver is very classy, and probably the easiest for you because you don't have to worry about door jams and engine compartment if originally silver. Best of luck.

Yep shes gonna stay a grey. Two tone in keeping with the factories wishes. That the reason for the wheel centre colour. Will post up another pic once the Alfetta 2 piece tail light lens conversion is completed. Finally managed to score a r/hand indicator lens to finish the job, allthough it was not the exact one that I was hoping to get. The Carello chrome edge Alfetta GT ones are extremely hard to get, especially new ones. So I managed to get a couple of non chromed ones and a set of U.S. all red (Brake and Indicator). So I'll fit them up and decide wich looks best. Maybe you guys can lend your opinions to what is the best look for the rear of the GTV6 after pics have been posted? Cheerz For the feedback. Tim.
