Try Auto Veloce in North Miami. 305-891-9556. They are some of the best Alfa mechanics I have ever delt with. When I lived in South Florida they kept my Alfas humming. Good luck,

I'll second the Auto Veloce recommendation!

Two generations of Alfa experience. No nonsense, fair treatment.
Mycarbodyshop likes this.

Allfa Mechanic

Hello Everybody,

I do not understand this at all. You guys own Alfa's and can't actually with certainty recommend a repair shop or Mechanic in Florida?

I leaved in Los Angeles for 26 years, and now I am in Florida.
I own a beautiful 75 1987 and a gorgeous Spider Veloce 1983, they are pretty much perfect. Many mechanical and body upgrades. I own Alfas, for 26 years

I also can recommend you a very good mechanic in LA.
Is name Uwe Backer, from Omega motorsport, he was trained by the factory worked in Aosta, Italy, and was trained by Alfa Romeo USA as well.

He work for Alfa in California for many years till they left and he open his own shop.

I can tell you without any hesitation that he is a fantastic mechanic, is not a Boucher, he is a very good mechanic and I can testify as I am very picky, he knows the cars in and out, he has all the computer equipment from the factory as well as all the tools, He can fix all from 1960's till the 164 Q and S
I have been going to him for 28 Years and my cars work perfect. No maybes, no excuses.

Now that I am in Florida It would be great if somebody can actually do the same and recommend a good mechanic and body shop, without been washy about it.

Thank you
Patrick

Umm... both italcarnut and I gave him the shop name for a very good Alfa facility.

No "washy" at all.

No need to be so snarky, Patrick.

Auto Veloce in North Miami. 305-891-9556, the guy is very good. Alfa's were not as big here as they were in California and I don't think there are many mechanics around. I have a 86 GTV6 that he keeps running very well.

Hi, I just bought a 1986 Spider Quad, and am looking for a good mechanic around Hollywood/Ft. Lauderdale. I called the ones recommended here but could not get the phone answered on nay of them - maybe moved or went out of business? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated
