72' GTV rims on a 72' Super?
I've got a great set of original wheels from my GTV sitting in the basement and an ugly beat-up set on my super. Will the GTV wheels fit... or what needs to be done to make them fit?
Thanks!

Yes, they should fit. They should be 14" instead of 15", and 1/2" wider. I have 69 Berlina steel wheels, which are the same size, on my 67 Super with no problems.

Thanks Andrew,
I'll give them a shot. I also need tires on the Super. Any preference?

I love the Vredesteins on my Super. 165-14, which is narrow, but my preference. I also have a set for my Giulietta, which I haven't installed yet.

Thanks again. Know of an online retailer for Vredesteins?

Rims
We'll, I'll be going for the 15" x 7" Alfaholics replica GTA wheels with a set of Pirelli P6 195/60's on them.
And goof luck with your Super.

not meaning to rain on your parade, but it is highly unlikely that those wheels will fit in the rear wheel wells of your Super. ask Max before you buy to be sure, but again, highly unlikely. it is extremely difficult to fit even 6" wide wheels back there, nevermind 7".
nice color on your car tho.... is that Grigio Graphito?

GTA wheels
Thanks for your concern - I can only say that I have checked with Max and he has reassured me 100% that they will fit on my Super, just by using different off-sets on the rear rims.
But I hear what you are saying, and I have posted another mail to Max to have him confirm again again.
In you experience, is it clearance of the rim or the tyre? And is it on the inside or is the wheel arch that proves problemeatic?
Or is it getting the damn things on and off?
As you can see on my images, the car is lowered substantially at the front and mildly at the rear.
Any iput is more than welcome.
I have also considered a set of 15" x 5,5 or 6" TX replicas

usually with a wide wheel the tire will foul on the inside of the rear fender. i have been unable to fit BWA Sportstars in 14 x 6 in the back (tire fouling on the outside as the only issue), and most recently have been unable to fit American Racing "Libre" wheels in 14 x 5.5 (again, tire fouling on the outside), just because the offset was a bit further to the outside.
this all being said, i just went to Alfaholics website and it would indeed appear that they have designed this wheel in two different offsets to accomodate the saloon/sedan body rear fitment so it must fit. this is a recent development on their part and i was simply unaware of it till now, so i take back all the comments about "it will never work".
let us/me know how you like them once you have them!

They sure do fit! We did a special offset for rear Giulia and early GT fitment to get it just right for enough ouside clearance whilst not getting too tight on the inside either. We tried them on a lovely original Ti Super we had in here last year and have sold many sets now to 100% happy Giulia customers. Attached is a photo of 1 customer's car from So Cal, they look so awesome on Giulia I nearly pee'd my pants when I first saw them fitted!
I wonder if Jeff is a BBer actually.....

Hi Everybody,
Just a reminder, I have Max's 15x7 GTA wheels in stock. Both the 29 and 35 mm offsets.
How about free delivery in So Cal for BB members.

The offset of GTV wheels is different than that of the Supers. Having recently installed a set of 14x6 inch, 30mm offset wheels, this is about the least you may use and avoid rubbing, if coupled to something like 185/70-14 tires.
I have very little room, with an un-modified Giulia Super. The bigger space restriction is the inside wheel well.
It wouldn't surprise me to see rubbing when using a GTV wheel's offset on a Berlina or Giulia.
