Squadra Bianca

gentlemen, ladies,
may I draw your attention to an ongoing topic on the dutch Alfaspeed forum, on the former dutch Squadra Bianca racing class.
This was a class of Giulia racing cars , all white, running 2.0 litre engines.
It was a class that ran between about 84 thru 98. Longest running single make class ever. Really cool. I did that back in '99.
Lots of cool pics. I won't post any here because mine seem to be too big for these pages and I cannot resize.

Enjoy!

Sorry to hear, that they stopped running. I saw them many times in Zolder Zandfort and the Nuerburg Ring. They were really fast, but they drove, as they had lot's of Cars for Spares.
I'm sorry for not being able, to read dutch. Please try to post some Pics, cause I think, most here, have never seen so many Giulias in one track together.
Regards
Jörg

Are some of them still running in the new Squadra-Italia series? I have seen one or two of these cars for sale via UK web sites for not outlandish money. Very good value compared to a Bertone GTV type car in fact. Tempting! And ideal for UK series such as the Classic Sports Car Clubs "Swinging Sixties" series. CSCC Home Page

Holy s**t, I've never seen that many Super's in the same picture. Most I have ever seen a one time together, and not on the track, is six.

Wow.

Also, in Rik's post that started this thread, the link does not work for me.

Move to Berkeley. I have been twice at intersections where three showed up at once, unplanned.

I'd love to watch it, but when I try I get a message that says "this video is no longer available".

IT worked for me. What a cool sound with so many alfa engines! Would be cool to get a Squadra Bianca stickers for our white Supers.
