I must say that for the amount of work done, that is a real bargain! You could have said 4 times the price and I wouldn't have been surprised. And despite the delays it seems like they are 4 times as fast.
The work looks very professional - you'll have quite a nice car in short order!

This shop has done quit a few of the local Alfa's, including a few from other AlfaBB members. I just wish they were closer so I could see more of the work, a lot gets done during the week that I don't see, and can't get photo's of for everyone to see.

Well it would be about 4,000 miles round trip for me so I guess it could be worse...

I was quoted $3400 JUST to replace the rockers on my Super!
Just replace the driver side myself. Not too hard and cost was about $500.

I LOVE those wheels on a Super. Nearly got a set myself but got sniped at the last second...
After hearing all these quotes, I'm almost embarrassed by how little my body work cost...

Saturday Update #12
No pictures to share of this weeks progress but, they've done the first coat of paint, and I already noticed a few thing wrong and I pointed them out. Hopefully I get some pictures next week, or maybe even get the car back, we'll see.

A Mid-week update
As I mentioned early in the process, I was wanting to get some seats that provided a little more side support to help keep me in the seat on a spirited drive through the twisties. Well, several weeks ago I acquired a pair of '67 GTV seats. Well, yesterday Anthony (italcarguy) sent me some pictures of my completed/reupholstered seats, as the upholstery shop is right next door to their shop. I had a slight modification done to allow for the sub-belt in a 5-point harness. I selected a black German vinyl that has the look and feel of a soft leather. The bar added to the bottom side of the seats is for the sub-belt to go around versus having it go over the front of the seat. Anyway, here's the pictures:

Very tidy
They will look great and I remember sitting in a 67 or so Veloce and thinking the side support was nice

Saturday Update #13
Not much to report this week, except that not much was done. While they were preparing the last of the doors for paint, guess what, they found more rust, this time in the framework of the door. It was uncovered as they sanded it. I have a spare door, but it was in worse shape, so they are going to rebuild the rusted out areas. So, more delays. Any way, they tell me it will be done by next weekend, but wait, that's what they've been telling me every Saturday for the last six weeks.

Saturday Update #14
Not much to report this week as they haven't rebuilt the bad door yet. The delays are being caused by "Insurance" work that comes in, which is more profitable that mine, and other restoration projects. I did manage to get a couple of pictures, it was just the first coat, and I noticed some imperfections, which I pointed out to them.

Saturday Update #15
Well, the interior has been painted, and they finished what was still undone on the exterior. They still have one door to finish, and then they can rub it out and make it real shiny. I might have it back by next weekend, then the fun begins (hope I marked everything so I can hook it back up).

Saturday Update #16
Well, when I went to check on my car today, I found it back in the paint booth. They had just finished the final coat of paint yesterday and they were preparing for the buffing and polishing stage. So, by Tuesday or Wednesday, the car should be back to Santo's, where Santo and Anthony will give it a mechanical inspection, making sure everything was re-attached properly after the body exchange. They will also install my new MagnaFlow exhaust, and reconnect all the electrical stuff. Then it will go next door for the new headliner, then back to Santo and Anthony for the roll cage install, then back to the upholsterers for the carpet and door panels, I'm getting dizzy.
Unfortunately, I forgot to take my camera today, so no photos. If can find out exactly when the car will be transferred between shop, I might try to get out of work so I can be there, with my camera.

You must be getting giddy. I know I would be. Please take pix of the roll cage, when it's appropriate. I've got a Super that needs its roll bar made into a cage, so I'm hoping to get ideas from yours.
TIA-

What white?
Gif, was the car painted Biancospino? Looks to be a whiter white in the photos. Looks great, by the way!

I don't recall the paint code, but it is Hawthorn White, which is the original color of the car. The interior shot that looks so bright, I think might have been caused by the flash on the camera, I seem to remember it be a little darker in the shop when that picture was taken. Or, it might be because of the new water based paint they are using, which is more environmental friendly.
