Pic Request: RED GIULIA SEDANS
Hello Everyone,
i am currently restoring my giulia. i have it all primed after 5 months of cutting, welding, sanding, and body work
So now its ready to paint but i need to decide what color to make it. i am going towards a red but i cant decide what shade. Can some of you post some red giulia with color codes it possible.

Looks more ellegant than the bright reds for a sedan.

Ther color on this car is Porsche Guards Red, also shown as Signal Red around 1974, DuPont number 42715

love the Amaranto red. i'd urge you to consider the dark blue, i think it's blue olandese, and the prugna (plum) color of Gary74tii's Giulia. any of those three is great.

Here's AR-525 Prugna. The literal translation is plum, which would be not too far off for a lighter colored example of the fruit. Raspberry would probably be closer in most people's minds or a mellow pink. This is a rare color because it was introduced in '72 late in the Giulia production run so depending on how original you want to go, it may not be acceptable for an early Giulia. Truly a '70's "period" color and I understand it is stretching the boundaries of "red". It's very cool though that Alfa had such a diverse color palette that often defied categorization into primary colors. Unfortunately, manufacturers today seem to have lost that uniqueness in the name of optimizing profit through reducing variation.
